Since 1995, the Scientific World Publishing House is a publisher of scientific, popular-science and educational literature.

Publishing

The main subjects are earth sciences, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, medicine, psychology and others.
Over 15 years, the Scientific World has produced more than 1,000 titles. Each year, over 100 scientific titles are published, which reflect the achievements of Russian fundamental science.

The important direction of our activity is publishing of local history and culture. Main attention is paid for little-known small cities of Russia, which preserved the unique monuments of the past.

Distribution

Scientific World distributes publications through libraries, scientific and educational organizations, bookstores, book trade organizations and companies operating in major cities of Russia.

Our Partners

Our main partner is the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. Scientific World cooperates with many state and private research organizations, primarily with the institutions of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Moscow State University including the Scientific and Educational Center for Nanotechnology.

A number of publishing projects are carried out in cooperation with museums in different regions of Russia.

International cooperation

The Science World cooperates with a number of foreign scientific publishers: Springer, Elsevier, World Scientific Publishing Co Pte Ltd, Pan Stanford Publishing, Taylor and Francis Group, ASM Press, Yale University Press, Oxford University Press, Woodhead Publishing Limited, etc.
We translate into Russian and publish books dedicated to the following topics – medicine, biology, physics, mathematics, chemistry, ecology, psychology, philosophy, history, computer science, etc.

Scientific World is aimed at promoting national scientific works abroad. We recommend Russian editions for publishing in foreign languages.
We have an experience in publishing scientific books in English.
